Dr. Massimo Donalisio is a passionate radiologist specialized in musculoskeletal imaging and minimally invasive imaging-guided interventional procedures, with a strong focus on musculoskeletal regenerative medicine and cell-based therapies. He combines clinical expertise, innovation, and a personalized approach to deliver state-of-the-art care tailored to each patient. Originally from Italy, he is fluent in Italian, French, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. His multilingual skills allow him to build warm and seamless relationships with patients, ensuring tailored support and optimal care.

Education

Dr. Massimo Donalisio graduated with honors from the University of Turin and completed his specialization specialised in Radiology at the prestigious Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV), where he also undertook a one-year fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging. He is currently a fellow in the Master’s Degree program in Musculoskeletal Regenerative Medicine at the Orthoregen Institute - UniMax (Brazil). Dr. Donalisio brings a strong international perspective shaped by clinical and academic experiences at Hospital Alemán (Buenos Aires) and HCOR (São Paulo). By integrating state-of-the-art imaging with cutting cutting-edge regenerative therapies, he helps patients restore movement, reduce pain, and optimize performance in a natural and precise way.

Humanitarian Projects & Collaborations

Dr. Donalisio is deeply committed to sharing knowledge and supporting medical education worldwide.

He is the director and founder of the Mini Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Ultrasound-Guided Injections at Black Lion Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This initiative trains local radiologists and physicians, expanding access to high-quality musculoskeletal diagnostic and therapeutic care in underserved regions.
He is also an active member of ESSKA (European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy) and ESMA (European Sports Medicine Associates), collaborating closely with international experts in sports medicine. These professional networks allow him to remain at the forefront of medical advances and continuously refine his techniques.
